Domain, Microsoft 365, and a static website.
For a new business that needs the basics selected, configured, and launched cleanly.
Public pricing is intentional. Some services can be estimated quickly; others need approval or scoping because the right answer depends on your environment. VBS helps you find the right path before you commit.
There are two buyer paths: Greenfield Small Business Setup, and Senior IT council / internal-IT ops MSP path.
For a new business that needs the basics selected, configured, and launched cleanly.
For companies with internal IT operations that need senior council, documentation, standards, and Backbone-supported visibility.
This lane is for a constrained startup baseline: domain setup, one selected Microsoft 365 email/license offering, and a static public website. It is not migration-heavy IT work or a custom agency website project.
The small-business setup is priced close to the work because we want new businesses to start properly. If you succeed, you may buy more seats, services, hardware, or support later. That is enough of a business model.
We set standards, make sure the right things are online, and help prevent bad technology purchases. We are not your day-to-day tech support desk, and we do not plan to come onsite for routine setup.
Annual commitment / monthly billing. Microsoft 365 licenses are additive monthly licensing line items unless we later publish validated package pricing.
We publish one customer-facing working number per tier, not internal commercial terms.
Email security and Microsoft 365 backup are shown as candidate component line items until the product call decides what VBS publishes, quotes, or bundles. They are not included in calculator totals.
Web/mobile apps for users who do not need desktop Office apps. Business Basic working number: ~$8.50/user/month.
Desktop apps plus Teams. Validated working number: $17.85/user/month.
Premium adds Intune, Defender, and conditional access. Confirmed SRP: $31.29/user/month.
This is the internal-IT, co-managed, and senior-oversight path. It is separate from Greenfield Small Business Setup. Backbone belongs here, not in the small-business starter package. It is built for internal IT teams and MSP operators, and it augments your team instead of replacing it.
Onboarding turns the environment into a foundation for documentation, topology, RMM-style visibility and workflows, backup visibility, standardization, and operational hygiene across networks, servers, backups, identity, and monitoring.
Pricing is by Backbone user: the IT, helpdesk, and admin people using the platform, not every employee. Server, network, and foundation line items remain pending Midas/ERP reconciliation.
Contract customers include a weekly one-hour virtual meeting or progress update with the highest IT lead, plus a quarterly onsite review if desired.
These rates apply to project work, additional work outside a managed plan, out-of-contract meetings, and short calls where applicable. VBS is not positioned as a general break-fix helpdesk.
Basic static public site hosting is $30/month. That price keeps a static site online; it does not include ongoing updates, content maintenance, custom systems, backends, or app-style work.
Customer website changes follow a review workflow: email request -> Iris/Nexus ingests -> Eames improves the dev site -> operator quality gate -> customer review -> Orpheus/Current promotes approved work to live. Website change work is billable at standard labour rates.
Managed hosted PBX and onsite phone appliances are available by scoped onboarding; typical delivery target is around two weeks after discovery. Ordering starts with discovery and confirmation, not a self-serve cart.
Hosted Shared: $30/user/month for 1-10 seats, $24/user/month for 11-25 seats, $20/user/month for 26-50 seats, and volume pricing for 51+ seats, as low as $15/user/month. Whole-account banding means growing into a lower tier reprices all seats. Minimum: 5 users.
Hosted Shared includes unlimited North American calling, local phone number(s), e911, and basic AI call recall. International calls, toll-free inbound, and heavy overage are billed separately. Setup is $99, waived on annual prepay. Minimum 1-year commitment, billed monthly with no annual upfront payment required; ask us about annual prepay savings.
Hosted Isolated: same per-seat bands as Hosted Shared, plus a dedicated node add-on at $300/month. Setup is $1,500 standard or $2,500 for complex IVR or larger user count. Minimum 1-year commitment.
Onsite Node: managed service, scoped per site. Use VBS SIP services or the customer's own provider. Setup is $3,500 single-site standard, $5,500 multi-site or complex, or $7,500 enterprise or multi-location. Additional sites after first are $2,000-$2,500 each. Hardware such as handsets and networking is separate.
Add-ons: advanced AI admin config, frontier-model configuration, and high-volume embeddings are pricing on request. MCP/AI tooling for onsite is an upcharge. Professional IVR script and greeting recording starts from $150. Number porting above included allotment is $50/number. Additional DIDs are cost-plus.
Remaining open item: DID bundling model. Production substrate exists, but public SIP/RTP routing, trunk/provider integration, app stack, monitoring policy, backup/HA policy, and acceptance are not complete yet. The small-business calculator estimates Hosted Shared only and is not checkout or a finalized phone-system quote.
The goal is a curated catalog for laptops, desktops, keyboards, mice, webcams, headsets, desk phones, cables, switches, routers, servers, and access points.
Example laptop flow: number pad or no number pad, 14-inch or 16-inch class, then starter/standard/preferred. Six options total. The buying guide can be public, but browsable product listings and actual checkout should require a customer account.
Static calculators are non-binding. Browser totals are not authoritative; checkout and activation need backend validation against the locked catalog.
This public pricing page is notional and informational. It exists for clarity and refinement, not checkout. The future ecommerce/customer portal will hold actual checkout.
Managed services, Backbone, phone systems, and custom website work start with an application or scoping review so we can confirm fit and implementation details.
Portal work is not live yet. The goal is account review, service history, billing, Stripe checkout for deterministic SKUs, account-gated hardware listings, and application/setup flows without pretending every service is self-serve.
You do not need to know the exact plan before you reach out. VBS will help identify the right fit before you commit, and will say when a service needs approval, scoping, or a different approach.
Public pricing helps customers compare VBS against current spend. Internal commercial terms stay internal. Pending items are marked instead of polished into fake certainty.
